Jimi Hendrix “Classic” by Gered Mankowitz 1967

Also known as James Mashal, Jimi is a legendary American rock guitarist and songwriter. He is widely regarded as one the most influential guitarists in history and one of the most celebrated musicians of the 20th century.

This shot was the last of a roll of film where Gered photographed Jimi against a white backdrop. It was the only one of its kind that Gered took.
