by Gered Mankowitz – 1967
Photographer Gered Mankowitz said that around May 1967, he was at the Decca Studio with Mick Jagger who was producing for Marianne Faithfull, when Sir Paul McCartney came to give support and encouragement. Mankowitz took portraits of The Beatles bassist and vocalist McCartney in the studio and in the control room at that time, including this image.
