Paul McCartney Decca Studio Triptych

by Gered Mankowitz – 1967

Photographer Gered Mankowitz said that around May 1967, he was at the Decca Studio with Mick Jagger who was producing for Marianne Faithfull, when Sir Paul McCartney came to give support and encouragement. Mankowitz took photographs of The Beatles bassist and vocalist McCartney in the studio and in the control room at that time, then colorized this portrait in 2010 as part of a triptych.
