The Jimi Hendrix Experience was a band formed in London in October 1966. The Experience included Jimi Hendrix (singer, guitarist, songwriter) along with Mitch Mitchell (drummer/backing vocalist) and Noel Reading (bassist/backing vocalist/songwriter). Photographed in front of a “thunder grey” background to give a more serious and moody look, by Gered Mankowitz in Masons Yard London.
